About Online Auctions

Until recently, anyone looking to purchase a vehicle at an auction had to physically attend the auction and bid manually to secure a vehicle or have their agent do this for them. These auctions were often time-consuming and there was difficulty understanding the whole process with customers often missing out on vehicles.

With advancements in technology, prospective customers can now utilize online technologies to bid and to get detailed information about available vehicles. As such, automotive enthusiasts and importers outside of Japan now regularly purchase vehicles from Japanese auctions through an agent that provide access to such auctions using an online system.

Online auction systems have eliminated many of the issues associated with manual auctions and hold a number of advantages for customers wishing to utilize such a system. For instance, importers can now view information and pictures of vehicles from multiple auction sites across Japan quickly and easily. This helps ensure that customers don’t miss out on any cars of interest and are able to get detailed information prior to the auction, allowing them to make fully informed decisions. Additionally, since vehicle auctions are held across all parts of Japan throughout any given week, often on the same day but in different locations, customers are able to bid on multiple vehicle simultaneously using an online auction system.

Customers can view and bid on any vehicles at all Japanese dealer auctions using our auction system. Alternatively, if a customer prefers, they can buy any of the listed vehicles for a set price through One Price, which is an additional feature of our auction system. Let our auction system and experienced staff help make your vehicle purchases effortless.

What is Online Auto Auction?

Not a long time back, people looking for used cars from auctions had to visit the auction sites physically, wait for the category of their choice, bid manually and repeat the process until they land up with a car. But now, due to the presence of online industry, the importers don’t have to go through this process physically as they can access the auctions online through services providers.

Online auctions save you from a lot of complications and troubles, as understanding the auction procedures is not an easy task. Firstly, there are a lot of auction houses in Japan, and the auctions are categorized on regional and other basis, with specific times scheduled for each. A person cannot be practically present at all auction sites and can miss out on ideal cars.

Through online auction services, you can be assured that none of the cars that falls into your desired category is not completely missed out, whereas the personnel responsible for bidding on your behalf are well trained specifically for this job so you can get the best used car based on your criteria. Moreover, the bidding management system developed by ‘Auction House Japan’ ensures that the process is flawless and convenient for you.

Auction Sheets and Grading

All Japanese auctions use Auction Sheets to provide information about all auctioned vehicles. Although their format may vary slightly, depending on the auctioning authority, they basically provide the same information. The Auction Sheets include an overall Grade for the exterior and interior of a given unit. In addition, they contain other detailed information about a vehicle, including any extra features the car may have, as well as defects and flaws such as scratches and dents. Auction Sheets are an invaluable tool in making informed decisions about vehicle purchases. They are based on an assessment performed by an independent authority, making them a relatively accurate and unbiased appraisal of a vehicle’s condition.
